Do you know what self-talk is?
It’s the way you talk to yourself. The words you say in your mind and out loud about yourself.
You might have an almost constant chatter going on in your head about yourself.
And what are you saying about yourself?
Are you telling yourself kind and positive things? Or negative and cruel things?
The tone of your self-talk can have a massive impact on your body image and sense of self-worth.
Even self-deprecating comments in the name of humor can lower your self-esteem.
If you want to feel better about your body, if you want to feel more empowered, if you want to feel more confident … try monitoring your self-talk!
Don’t say anything to yourself or about yourself that you wouldn’t say to a friend.

Try treating yourself with kindness and see where it takes you.
For example, instead of telling yourself, “I can’t believe you made that mistake. You’re an idiot!” Try this: “You made a mistake, and it’s ok. You’re human. Now let’s brainstorm what to do next.”
Talking to yourself with kindness will serve you so much better than being cruel to yourself.
You are fabulous, you are worthy and you deserve to be spoken to with respect by everyone. Including yourself.
