Did you even know that maternity boudoir is a thing???? Fine art nudes during pregnancy are completely stunning! More modest? I have stunning gowns here in the studio for my clients to use! They are a variety of sizes, colors, and styles and my clients love having access to our gown and boudoir closet!
She needed confidence
This mamma came from Ferndale, MI to my boudoir studio very hesitant to do her session. She was confident in my work, but not confident in herself.
After we started her session in a gorgeous lace gown and I showed her some sneak peeks on my camera, she soon became more confident in herself and gained a ton of confidence throughout her shoot! This is the best part of my job… seeing how boudoir photography helps women believe in their beauty!
I just LOVE shooting maternity. I especially love shooting maternity boudoir in my SE Michigan home studio. When Miss J contacted me about shooting her maternity boudoir photos I was so excited. We also did a set of fine art nudes which were just gorgeous. Read on below to hear about Miss J’s shoot in her own words.
Why did you do your maternity boudoir shoot?:
“This was my first time doing a boudoir photo shoot and I thought the it went very well! Yvonne was very sweet and professional and made the experience very enjoyable. I did the maternity photo shoot to capture my pregnancy body and as a gift for my husband. I have a hard time liking images of myself but Yvonne’s pictures really did make me feel beautiful! I choose Yvonne because I loved what I saw when I looked through her image galleries online.”
What was the best part of your experience?:
“I loved getting to know Yvonne and having my first boudoir photo shoot with another mom who was so understanding about all things wonderful and not so wonderful about being pregnant. She also gave me some great advice! As a first time mom, I need all the tips I can get :)”
What would you say to anyone that’s thinking about booking a shoot but their nerves are keeping them from making the call?:
“Go for it! I would assure them that it really is a lot of fun and they will feel beautiful!”
