I was a mom at the age of 18 and did not have much confidence in myself. After a few years I met a man that I married and I had my second son with. We loved each other and I tried to be happy but I never was. After I had my youngest son I went to school and became a registered nurse. I have now found my love in my career as a forensics nurse helping people that have been a victim/ survivor of violence. Everything about my boudoir shoot was amazing but my favorite part was walking in the viewing room and seeing a woman on the screen and then realizing it was me.
I used to question my beauty and struggled with finding my inner confidence. But I have come so far in developing a confident attitude that ultimately shines through. No longer do I need to rely on the opinions of others to tell me how beautiful I am, because now I know it myself. As a way of celebrating this newfound self-love, I decided to take boudoir photos for myself. These pictures are a reminder of how confident I am and how proud I am of all the accomplishments that brought me here. The fact that I can look at these boudoir photos and feel confident makes me so proud! They serve as a tangible representation of how confident and beautiful I really am. With these boudoir photos, there is no need to question my beauty anymore. I don’t have to rely on anyone else’s opinion of me because now I know for myself. Taking these photos and looking at them whenever I may be feeling down is a great way to remind myself how confident, proud, and beautiful I truly am.
